The letter “C” stands for creativity, confidence, curiosity, courage, collaboration, compassion and just the right amount of crazy.

Courtney Kato is an actor with a dancing background, a storyteller’s heart and an artisan soul.

Her creative journey has taken her from stage to screen starting at South Coast Repertory’s Youth Conservatory and the Adult Professional Intensive program. Her favorite roles at SCR in the players and mainstage plays were Tiger Lily in Peter Pan and Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. She originated the role of Sue in the World Premiere of the Mission Play at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.

Some of her screen credits include work for Nickelodeon, NBC, Animal Planet, MTV, films and commercials.  Most recently, she recurred on MTV’s scripted show “Faking It” as Leila.

Courtney is using her B.A. in Communications, Public Relations Concentration from California State University, Fullerton and additional education to develop projects for the industry. Her passion to make a positive difference can be seen through her blogs to inspire kindness and healthy living.
